The Health Services Management program focuses on the application of business management knowledge and techniques to health care organizations and related fields, such as the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Students in this program learn how to develop strategies and policies for healthcare organizations, set organizational goals and standards, effectively allocate and utilize resources, make decisions, and evaluate performance to create value for customers in the health care industry. The program is offered only at the graduate level. The main research topics include:
