1. Purpose
The purpose of this ¡®Rules for Operation¡¯ is to set forth specific grounds with regard to scholarship student selection and scholarship award applicable to the students of the School of Management based on Kyung Hee University scholarship regulations.

2. Scope of Application
This ¡®Rules for Operation¡¯ applies to the students of the School of Management.
3. Scholarship Committee
1) The operations Committee of the School of Management functions as the scholarship Committee of the School.
2) The Scholarship Committee carefully reviews budget, number of students, types of scholarship, and award criteria to select scholarship students.

4, Types & Criteria of Institutional Scholarships
1) There are 2 types of scholarships: institutional scholarships and external scholarships. Selection and award criteria for the institutional scholarships conform to this ¡®Rules¡¯.
2) Selection and award criteria for the external scholarships conform to the criteria set forth by the grantor separately.

5. Application for Scholarship
1) Students applying for scholarship must submit the application form within a given period in each semester.
2) Scholarships are awarded to the selected applicants only, and are non-retroactive.

6. Scholarship Restraint
In principle, scholarships will not be awarded to students under academic probation or on a leave of absence.

7. Provisions
Scholarship award criteria for foreign students, excellence in foreign languages, and acquisition of certifications/licenses are set forth separately.

8. Effect
This ¡®Rules for Operation¡¯ goes into effect in the beginning of 1st semester, 2009.

3. Committee assessment score: 40%
 
Overseas study scholarship
Students selected for overseas study
1. Acquiring credit for major courses and equivalent required
2. Quality of overseas study plan
3. Relevant language skills achievement
4. Scholastic achievement

3. Relevant foreign language test score: 30%
4. Committee assessment score: 20%
 
Certifications/Licenses scholarship
Students with certifications or licenses
Acquisition of professional certification(s) and/or license(s) as a student of the School of Management Certification/License review  
Research scholarship
Students with outstanding performance or research abilities
1. Recommendation by academic supervisor
2. Student planning to further study in graduate school as a full-time student

Eligibility
Selection criteria
Assessment criteria
Student planning to further study management in graduate school as a full-time student 1. Currently enrolled in the School of Management who plans to further study management in graduate school as a full-time student. Recommendation by academic supervisors is required.
2. Scholarship may be awarded from the 1st semester of junior year, and will not exceed a period of 4 semesters.
3. The number of research scholarship students is limited to 2 persons per professor.
