Values Doing RIGHT in business education and research
Responsibility
As educators, we want to impart to our students an understanding of how responsible management and business sustainability are vital to the role of every businessperson. Our school has been a national leader among business schools in incorporating the United Nations' Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) into our curriculum, and we are in the process of working together with our stakeholders to formulate action plans that are based on this initiative.

Integration
The core curriculum encompasses foundational business concepts and skills, and electives provide students opportunities to specialize their knowledge in a field of their choosing such as health care, culture, banking, insurance, and consulting. For their undergraduate senior dissertation, our students present analyses and plans joining together the lessons they have learned from the different classes they have taken. At the graduate level, our students use an even more integrative approach, focusing on how different business skills contribute to a successful whole.

Glocalization
The rapidly diversifying cultural makeup of our country and campus provides an excellent backdrop in which we can teach our students to adapt to changes in their society and in the world. Believing that success in business occurs only when we have a deep understanding of our own social context, we also teach our students to analyze business in Korea and the relationship between markets and cultural values. Programs have been designed to promote international exchanges and collaborations among students, faculty, and staff members.

Humanity
We believe that an understanding of people is indispensable to a business environment as dynamic as the one in which we live. An understanding of human nature implies an understanding of society and, consequently, markets.
In our classes, we teach our students to reflect on lessons from the humanities and social sciences to understand why something happens the way it does. We also have them participate in programs in which they interact with people outside the department and university and then analyze what they learned about human interaction from those situations.

Team
We work as a team and teach students how to work as team members. We believe that people who are able to join their talents in the pursuit of common goal are the ones who succeed in business. We consequently assign team projects in many of our classes in order to give students opportunities to work with others in the task of learning. Teamwork, we believe, is a skill that is necessary in the business world and one of the skills that are at the foundation of good leadership.
